Privacy & cookies
This page explains which personal data we process when you visit prodbywide.it, why we process it and what your rights are. It is written under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 (Privacy Code), including the Italian Data Protection Authority's guidelines on cookies and other tracking tools.
In short: the site uses no analytics or advertising cookies and has no form that stores your data on a server. Videos are hosted on YouTube and load only if you accept. If you write to us, we receive your email like any other email.

2. What data we process
a) Browsing data
Like every website, the server hosting this site automatically logs some technical data for each visit: IP address, date and time, requested page, browser and operating system. This is needed to run and secure the site. We do not use it to identify or profile you.
b) Data you send us by email
The form on the Contact page and the availability request on the Rental page do not send anything to the site: they open your email program with a pre-filled message. We only receive the data if you choose to send the email: name, email address, company, budget, message, requested gear and anything else you write. The same applies if you write directly to wide.filming@gmail.com.
c) YouTube content
Project videos are hosted on YouTube, a service of Google Ireland Limited. The video player (project pages) and the hover previews (Work page) load only after your consent. Once loaded, Google may collect data about your device and viewing, including through cookies and similar technologies, and use it under its own privacy policy. We use YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com), which reduces the cookies set.
Video cover images are loaded from YouTube's servers (i.ytimg.com) even without consent: this sends your IP address to Google but does not set cookies on your device.
3. Why we process it and on what legal basis

Sending us data by email is optional, but without it we cannot reply. Declining YouTube does not stop you from using the site: videos simply won't load.
4. How long we keep it
- Browsing data: for the period set by the hosting provider for server logs, normally a few months.
- Emails and requests that do not become a job: up to 24 months, then deleted.
- Emails and documents related to a job: for the duration of the relationship and then as long as the law requires, e.g. 10 years for tax records.
- Your YouTube choice: stored in your browser until you change it or clear the site's data.
5. Who may receive the data
We do not sell or hand over your data. It may be processed, on our behalf or as independent controllers, by:
- Aruba S.p.A. (Italy), which hosts the site;
- Google Ireland Limited, for the Gmail service we use to receive emails and, only if you accept, for YouTube;
- our accountant and advisers, if the request becomes a job;
- our partners (e.g. Keep Rolling for rental or South Berlin for sound), only if needed for your request and after telling you.
Google may transfer data to the United States. Such transfers rely on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
6. Cookies and similar technologies
The site does not use analytics, advertising or social network cookies. Fonts and graphics tools are hosted directly on our server.

You can change your mind at any time with the button, also at the bottom of every page. You can also clear the site's data from your browser settings.
7. Links to other sites
The site links to Instagram, South Berlin's website and other services. These are plain links: until you open them, those services receive no data from our site. Once opened, their own privacy policies apply.
8. Your rights
At any time you can ask us to access, correct or delete your data, restrict its processing, object to processing based on legitimate interest and receive your data in a portable format (Arts. 15–22 GDPR). You can also withdraw any consent given, without affecting what was done before. Write to wide.filming@gmail.com: we reply within 30 days.
If you believe the processing is not lawful, you can lodge a complaint with the Italian Garante per la protezione dei dati personali or the supervisory authority of your country.
